Staff Correspondent: By the initiative of the social organization New Town Society, located in Demra, Dhaka, the Seeratun Nabi (SAW) Mahfil 2025 will be held on Tuesday, 23 September 2025, at the Unique Tower Field. The Mahfil, organized with deep religious solemnity and grandeur, will feature renowned scholars of the country who will present discussions and Tafseer based on the Holy Qur’an and Hadith.
The program will be graced by Dr. Abul Kalam Azad Bashar, internationally renowned Mufassir of the Qur’an, distinguished Islamic scholar, and Khatib of the New Town Central Jame Mosque Complex, as the chief guest.
The keynote lecture will be delivered by Mufti Amir Hamza (Kushtia), an internationally renowned Mufassir of the Qur’an and eminent speaker.
In addition, Hossain Ahmed Mahfuz (Chuadanga) will participate as a special speaker.
In a statement, the honorable secretary of New Town Society said that all necessary preparations have already been completed to make the Seerat Mahfil successful and meaningful. He urged everyone to attend the Mahfil and make the event a success.
Mr. Md. Mohsin Uddin, convener of the Seerat Mahfil Celebration Committee, said—

Meanwhile, the Media, Publicity, and Publication Secretary of New Town Society and Editor of the daily Kaler Katha, Khwaja Masum Bellah Kausarey, said that extensive publicity campaigns are already underway centering on the Seerat Mahfil. He expressed his optimism that the Mahfil will be a gathering of thousands and will remain as a historic testimony for the future.
