  Nepalese, Bhutanese envoys hold courtesy meetings with Tarique Rahman

The ambassadors of Nepal and Bhutan to Bangladesh on Saturday separately paid courtesy calls on BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman at his political office in the capital.

According to BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan, Nepal’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Ghanshyam Bhandari met Tarique Rahman at around 4:00 PM at BNP Chairman’s Political Office in Gulshan.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Joint Secretary General (International Affairs) and member of BNP Chairman’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Council Humayun Kabir, along with two female officials from the Embassy of Nepal, were present at the meeting.

Later in the afternoon, Bhutan’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Dasho Karma Hamu Dorjee also met Tarique Rahman at the same office at around 4:55 PM.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Humayun Kabir were again present during the meeting.

Party sources said the meetings were held in a cordial atmosphere as part of routine diplomatic interactions.
