NSU celebrates Bangabandhu’s birth anniversary

Online Desk : The 103rd birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day-2023 was celebrated at North South University (NSU) on Friday.

The university authorities arranged discussion, cultural program, drawing competition, and cake-cutting ceremony to mark the day.

Founder trustee of the Bangladesh Liberation War Museum Mofidul Hoque and NSU vice-chancellor Professor Atiqul Islam were present in the programmes held on the campus of the university.

The national flag was hoisted in the morning, and the campus was adorned with colorful lights.

Children aged 4 to 15 participated in the drawing competition organized by NSU. The competition concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony held at the NSU Lobby.


Professor M. Ismail Hossain, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of NSU, delivered the opening remarks.


The celebration also included a cultural program by the NSU SS club, and prizes were distributed to the drawing competition winners.
