Girl’s murder mystery in Nirala rest house revealed

Mymensingh Correspondent: Kotwali police revealed the mystery of the girl`s throat slit in the hotel. An unidentified woman (20) was found with her throat slit in a residential hotel called Nirala Rest House in Mymensingh city.

The Kotowali Model Police Station was able to unravel the murder mystery within 24 hours after the incident. On the instructions of OC Shah Kamal Akanda, investigating officers of the case SI Minhaj Uddin, SI Nirupam Nag, SI Anwar Hossain, Constable Mizanur Rahman conducted the operation and arrested the killer from Ghazaria police station in Munshiganj district through information technology.

The arrested killer`s name is Rakibul Islam Rakib (23). He is the son of Md Khokon Mia of Charchashi village in Ghazaria upazila under Munshiganj district. Rakib killed the girl without paying the money as per the contract by having sexual intercourse in the hotel room. Accused Rakib admitted this in the statement after the arrest.

Police Super Masum Bhuiyan confirmed this information in a press briefing with journalists at the office on Tuesday.
