Eight domestic and international diverted flights have been landed at Chittagong due to a fire at the cargo village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka.
The flights have landed at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport around 6:00 PM on Saturday.
It was learned that out of the 8 flights that landed at Chittagong Shah Amanat international Airport, two were domestic flights from Chittagong to Dhaka, two international flights were from Bangkok to Dhaka by US Bangla Airlines and the other was from the Middle East to Dhaka by Air Arabia.
In addition, there are 2 more flights from US-Bangla Airlines and 2 flights from Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Confirming the matter, Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport (Public Relations) Engineer Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil said that 8 domestic and international flights landed at Chittagong Airport till 6:00 PM on Saturday.
