Kamrul Hasan: “BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s political philosophy is rooted in the people, the nation, and the defense of sovereignty. He has taught us that there is no alternative to unity — the people’s strength is the true foundation of the BNP.” — said Dr. Khondoker Akbar Hossain Bablu, eldest son of the late BNP Secretary General Khondoker Delwar Hossain, former Vice President of Manikganj District BNP, member of the district BNP convening committee, and BNP nomination aspirant for Manikganj-1 constituency. He made these remarks on Saturday (October 18) at a colorful rally organized by Shibalaya Upazila BNP in the premises of the party’s local office. Thousands of leaders, activists, and general supporters attended the event, which was organized to promote BNP’s 31-point program for the reconstruction of the state structure. The rally was presided over by Abdur Razzak, Vice President of Shibalaya Upazila BNP, and conducted by Abu Khalid Don, Senior Joint Convener of Upazila Jubo Dal. Mohidur Rahman, former Joint Convener of Manikganj District Jubo Dal, delivered the keynote address. Among others present were: Adv. Nurul Islam Kuntu, Organizational Secretary of Daulatpur Upazila BNP and member of the District BNP Convening Committee; Aminul Islam Master, Joint Secretary; Adv. Jasim Uddin, BNP leader; Adv. Anwar Hossain, Vice President of Ghior Upazila BNP; Abu Kaiser Reza, Abul Hossain, Lutfun Nahar Begum, President of the Upazila Mohila Dal; Ujjal Fakir, Joint Convener of Upazila Jubo Dal; G.M. Enamul Haque, President of Shahid Zia Projonmo Dal (Manikganj District); Amzad Hossain, President of Shibalaya Upazila Shahid Zia Projonmo Dal; and many senior leaders of BNP and its associate organizations. Dr. Bablu said, “BNP’s 31-point declaration is not merely a political agenda — it is a national blueprint for rebuilding Bangladesh. Each point, from education and agriculture to economic reform and social justice, is aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens. We must spread these ideals among the people.” Addressing the youth, he added, “Tarique Rahman always inspires young people to embrace patriotism, honesty, and ethical politics. Real change is possible only if we remain united and free from social evils like drugs and corruption.” He concluded by seeking everyone’s prayers for the speedy recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia, and for the good health and long life of national leader Tarique Rahman.
