A bit policing meeting has been held in Rangabali upazila of Patuakhali district. Give information, take service. With this slogan in mind, prevention of drugs, terrorism, militancy, violence against women and child marriage has been done. The meeting was held at 11 am on Saturday at Bangabazar of Rangabali and Chhota Baishadia Unions under the auspices of Police Station No. 1.

Officer-in-charge of Rangabali Police Station Dewan Jaglul Hasan addressed the function as the chief guest. Rangabali Upazila Chhatra League president Kamruzzaman Shibli presided over the function. Chhatra League leader Babu Talukder spoke as the keynote speaker. Rangabali Police Station SI Nazmul Hasan conducted the meeting. At the same time, the speakers said that in order to bring the service to the doorsteps of the people, one bit policing office has been set up in each union. One SI has been assigned as a bit officer in each office. So that people can easily get services from the police. The BIT Policing Office is also playing a special role in stopping other crimes including alcohol. The speakers also called upon the police to take information and cooperate in stopping crime.
