Md. Jabed Sheikh, Shariatpur: A young man named Al Amin Dhali (24) has committed suicide in Shariatpur`s Damudya Upazila with an emotional status on Facebook due to love.

He closed the door of his house at around 11:30 pm on Saturday, April 24 and hanged himself. The deceased was identified as Al Amin Dhali, son of Md. Alauddin Dhali of Ward No. 1 of DamudaMunicipality. Meanwhile, Al Amin posted an emotional status on his Facebook at around 4 pm before hanging himself. There he highlighted various issues related to love.

It is learned that Al Amin`s relatives could not find him anywhere since the afternoon. Later, he came to the side of the house and saw Al Amin hanging from the window. After breaking the door of the house and taking him to DamudyaUpazilaHospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead at around 12:15 pm.

The medical officer of the emergency department of Damudya Health Complex, Saikat Saha, said he was brought to the hospital; but before that the young man died.

Damudya Police Station OC Md Zafar Ali Biswas said the youth had committed suicide. We have prepared an inquest report and sent the body to Shariatpur Sadar for autopsy. An unnatural death case has been registered in this incident.
