Illegal eviction in Inani Range operation: 6 acres of forest land recovered

Abu Sayem, Cox`s Bazar: In the operation of InaniRange under Cox`s Bazar South Forest Department, 1 illegally constructed house in Rajapalang bit has been demolished and evicted.

In this way, about 6 acres of land has been recovered from the hands of land grabbers. However, the pirates could not arrest anyone.

 On Friday, illegally constructed houses and drinking waste were evacuated under the leadership of Tosaddek Hossain, a Range Officer in Rajapalang under InaniRange. Inani Range Officer Tosaddek Hossain informed about this.

He said there would be no place for pirates. We will crack down on those who are forcibly occupying the lands of the forest department. 6 acres of forest land has been recovered by evicting illegal establishments and drinking waste. Rajapalang bit officer CPG members and staff took part in the operation.

Range officer Tosaddek Hossain said preparations were underway to take legal action against those involved.

 Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Divisional Forest Officer, Cox`s Bazar South Forest Department, said the forest department is trying to recover government forest land. If anyone builds a facility on government land, it will be evicted and I will play a vital role in protecting the forest by conducting a campaign against the occupiers. The operation will be carried out to bring the land under the law of forcible occupation and hill people. He called for cooperation in suppressing forest crime with information.
