JaPa MP Rashid Chowdhury dies

Online Desk : Jatiya Party’s presidium member Masuda M Rashid Chowdhury and also a member of parliament for reserved seats for women Professor Masuda M Rashid Chowdhury has passed away. She was 70.

She breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the ICU of BIRDEM General Hospital at 3:15am on Monday.

She left behind one son and one daughter and many well-wishers to mourn his death.

Her namaz-e-janaza will be held at the central office of JaPa in the capital’s Kakrail.

However, JaPa chairman and deputy opposition leader in parliament GM Quader expressed his deep shock at the death of Rashid Chowdhury.
