Faisal Azam Apu, Chapainawabganj: Amena Khatun, a 7-year-old girl from Bhabanipur Singnagar village bordering Monaksha union in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district in the westernmost union of the country, was born with skin EB disease and is now on the verge of death.

Amena is the daughter of Mizanur Rahman of Singnagar village. The eldest of Mizanur`s two children is Amena. The family is counting the death toll of their daughter in front of their eyes, accepting the rate of family indigestion and poverty. According to the information given by the specialist doctors, it will be impossible to save Amena without rapid treatment.
