The rail communication between Chattogram to Cox`s Bazar district disrupted after three coaches of the Eid special train derailed at Dulahazara area under Chakaria upazila on Wednesday morning.

Atiqul Islam, an official of Cox`s Bazar Railway Station, confirmed the derailment, adding that the train, which departed Chattogram at around 7 am, met the unfortunate accident around 10am on Wednesday.

The disruption led to a temporary halt in rail services along the Cox`s Bazar-Chattogram route, causing inconvenience to travelers and commuters.
