847 arrested in 30 sabotage cases in Ctg

Law enforcers have arrested 847 people so far in 30 sabotage cases filed with different police stations in Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) area and district.

CMP Media and Public Relations Department Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kazi Md Tarek Aziz said some 476 individuals were arrested in Chattogram in 19 sabotage cases filed with different police stations in the CMP in last five days.

Among them, 27 people were arrested in last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Abu Tayob Md Arif Hossain, Additional Superintendent of Police, said a total of 371 people were arrested in the Chattogram district in 11cases of sabotage filed with different police stations in the district in last seven days.
