Hindu community pledges to protect communal harmony in Panchagarh

The Hindu community in Boda and Debiganj upazilas have pledged to protect communal harmony in the district.


Hindu, Bouddha and Christian Kallan Front of Panchagarh district unit have arranged a conference at the Central Sahid Miner premises here yesterday afternoon. The Hindu leaders said that we have been born in Bangladesh. We will not go anywhere from Bangladesh, reports BSS.

Convener of the Kallan Front of Panchagarh unit Premasish Kumar Ray was in the chair. Bangladesh Hundu ,Bouddha and Christian Kallan Front Chairman Bijon Kanti Sarker addressed as chief guest.

It was addressed among others, by central BNP Pally Unnayan Secretary and Zila BNP Member secretary Forhad Hossein Azad, Kallan front general secretary S.N.Torun Dey and others. Former BNP Mayor Tohidul Islam, Kallan Front leader and retired teacher Susil Chandra conducted the function.
