Inside the park, temporary food stalls and children`s entertainment areas were also crowded. According to upazila administration sources, in the last 13 days offline and online tickets were bought in the park.2 lakh 25 thousand 305 visitors entered. 35,000 visitors bought tickets and entered the park in one day till 7 pm yesterday alone. Apart from this, more than 2000 more guests, artist-crews are coming every Visitors enter DC Park. On the surface, it was seen that the west side of the pair of ponds inside the park was decorated with more than 100,000 flower seedlings. There are 136 species of domestic and foreign flowers here. The native flowers include 15 species of marigolds, marigolds, chrysanthemums, and chrysanthemums. Those in the Most of the flowers kept are winter exotic species. Among the exotic flowers, there are 25 types of roses, stocks, gazania, camellia, hollyhock, snake, nestium, lilium, dahlia, chrysanthemum, magnolia, cherry, gerbera, willow, wisteria, concumbari, hybrid sorghum and more than a hundred varieties of flowers.In addition to enjoying the beauty of flowers, the taste of various foods including pitha-puli, the traditional food of rural Bengal meets here. There is a separate kids zone for children. Cultural program starts every evening in the festival. After getting the ticket, it takes time to get inside the park because of the crowd at the entrance. But it is a bit difficult to enter the crowd of visitors. I forgot that pain after going inside. The park is more beautiful than expected.Nusrat Jahan Munmun, a student from Baroyarhat, said, "I got curious after seeing the pictures of DC Park flowers on Facebook and several media. So I came to see with my own eyes. After visiting here, I was truly enchanted by the fragrance of millions of colorful flowers. We visited this park last year as Senior Assistant Commissioner (Lands) and District Magistrate Mohammad Alauddin said on an average, 18,000 visitors enter the DC Park every day, except on holidays. The visitors had double the pressure on Friday.Sitakunda Upazila Nirbahi Officer KM Rafiqul Islam said, this year`s flower festival has been decorated with 136 species of native and foreign flowers. He said, once the place was one of the arenas of drug trade and anti-social activities. On the initiative of the Chittagong district administration, DC Park has been built on the model of Dubai`s Miracle Garden by freeing the illegal occupation of 194 acres of government land in 2023.On January 4, "Flower Matan Appai FChittagong The month-long festival, which started with slogans, will end on February 4. DC Park is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm. Not only flowers, this month-long festival has various exceptional accessories apart from flowers every day.
