Neymar tests positive for COVID-19 again
  Date : 16-06-2025

Brazilian football star Neymar has tested positive for COVID-19, his club Santos FC confirmed on Sunday.

According to reports, Neymar began experiencing symptoms, including a fever, on Thursday, leading him to miss training sessions and a scheduled match. The club’s medical team conducted multiple tests, which later confirmed the infection.

Neymar is now in home isolation and under medical supervision. A follow-up test is planned for Monday to assess his recovery.

This marks the second time Neymar has contracted the virus — the first was in May 2021 while he was playing for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

As a result of the infection, Neymar will miss the upcoming Brazil national team training camp, which was scheduled to begin shortly.

The initial news broke via Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano on Instagram, and was later confirmed by Brazil`s major outlet Globo.

Stay tuned for further updates on his condition and potential return to play.
