Dr. Bablu Intensifies Campaign with Tarique Rahman’s 31-Point Reform Agenda
  Date : 07-09-2025

Kamrul Hasan: Dr. Khondker Akbar Hossain Bablu, son of late BNP Secretary General Khondker Delwar Hossain, former vice-president of Manikganj district BNP, member of the district convening committee, and a nomination aspirant, has been actively campaigning across his constituency. He is reaching out to voters by highlighting BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s 31-point agenda for state reform through village meetings, marketplaces, and leaflet distribution.

On Saturday (September 6), addressing a campaign rally organized by BNP, Jubo Dal, and affiliated organizations at Basudeb Bari Bazar in Ghior upazila, Dr. Bablucriticized those who, according to him, remained absent from the party’s struggles over the last 17 years but are now seeking nominations. “Many of them collaborated with the Awami League to secure benefits while the grassroots leaders and activists made sacrifices. Their sudden return to politics is creating confusion among party workers,” he said.

He further warned that “the fascist Awami clique is still conspiring. We must remain united and take Tarique Rahman’s 31-point reform plan to every household, urging voters to support the ‘sheaf of paddy’ symbol.” Dr. Bablu expressed his conviction that if BNP regains power, Tarique Rahman would become the next Prime Minister. He also sought prayers for the health and safety of party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

Dr. Bablu added, “There is no alternative to implementing Tarique Rahman’s 31 points to restore democracy, achieve economic emancipation, and build the Bangladesh people aspire to. If BNP forms the next government, these reforms will ensure people’s rights, equality, and sustainable development.”

The meeting was presided over by BNP leader Md. Rafiqul Islam Lalon and conducted by Selim Mia, former GS of Ghior College and leader of Krishak Dal.
Among others present were Md. Shariful Islam Biltu, Senior Joint Convener of Daulatpur Upazila BNP; Md. Anwar Hossain, Vice-President of Ghior Upazila BNP; Md. Aminul Islam, Joint General Secretary of Daulatpur BNP; Md. Liton Mia, member of District Krishak Dal; Sergeant Shahin, Organizing Secretary of Daulatpur Krishak Dal; Md. Shafiqul Islam Shafiq, Joint General Secretary of Shahid Zia Projonmo Dal; Shahjahan Ali, former Organizing Secretary of Poila Union BNP; and Md. Himon Khan, leader of Jionpur Union BNP.
