  Date : 13-10-2025

Kamrul Hasan: S.A. Jinnah Kabir, member of the BNP Central Executive Committee, former General Secretary of Manikganj District BNP, senior member of the district convening committee, and the BNP nominee hopeful for Manikganj-1 constituency, said, “Implementing the 31-point state reform plan announced by BNP’s Acting Chairman and National Leader Tarique Rahman is essential for building a developed and prosperous Bangladesh.” He made these remarks on Monday evening (October 13) while addressing a courtyard meeting organized by the Ward No. 5 unit of BNP and its affiliated organizations at Kalibari Bazar in Chak Mirpur Union under Daulatpur Upazila. Prior to the meeting, party leaders conducted leaflet distribution, public outreach, and a brief street rally as part of the 31-point campaign. The event was attended by district Jubo Dal convener Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, Upazila BNP President Sirajul Islam, Ghior Upazila BNP President Mir Manikuzzaman Manik, District Krishak Dal Senior Vice President Masudur Rahman Masud, along with other leaders from BNP and its associate bodies. Jinnah Kabir said, “Under the visionary leadership of Tarique Rahman, the people’s movement and the BNP’s struggle have brought an end to autocratic rule. Now, it is time to transform that achievement into sustainable national development. We must uphold the ideals of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman to continue the progress of the nation.” He further stated that the interim government has decided to hold the next national election in February 2026 to fulfill the people’s long-standing expectations over the past 17 years. However, he warned that certain vested quarters are attempting to derail the election process in the name of the “PR system,” adding that such forces must be resisted through united public opinion for the welfare of the country. Calling upon party members and supporters, Jinnah Kabir urged them to play an active role in ensuring the victory of the BNP’s electoral symbol, the Sheaf of Paddy, and emphasized the need for women’s active participation in politics. He concluded by praying for the good health and long life of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and sought prayers for the quick recovery and well-being of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
