All Conspiracies Must Be Foiled to Ensure the Victory of the Paddy Sheaf — Rita
  Date : 22-10-2025

Kamrul Hasan: BNP’s Acting Chairman and National Leader Tarique Rahman’s leadership, guidance, and visionary thinking have freed the country from the grip of autocracy. A new Bangladesh has begun to emerge. To sustain this progress—there is no alternative to Tarique Rahman in restoring independence, the constitution, democracy, and resolving the national crisis.

Therefore, for the welfare of the country and the people, all conspiracies must be resisted, and the Paddy Sheaf must be made victorious. With this call, BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council Member and Convenor of Manikganj District BNP Afroza Khanam Rita urged all party leaders, activists, and socially conscious citizens to unite.

She made this call on Tuesday afternoon while speaking as the chief guest at the annual sports competition prize-giving ceremony and parents’ gathering organized by Kewarjani Hurnahar High School in Manikganj Sadar Upazila.

The event was presided over by Engineer Rashid Maimunul Islam, Chairman of the School Managing Committee and Managing Director of Munno Ceramic Industries Ltd., and conducted by the school’s headmaster S.M. Ataur Hossain.

Among others present were Advocate A.F.M. Nurtaj Alam Bahar PP, Golam Abedin Kayser, Advocate Zohir Alam Khan Lodi, Golam Kibria Saeed, Nasir Uddin Ahmed Jadu, Abdus Salam Badol, Rafiquddin Bhuiyan Habu, Asaduzzaman Khan Dolon, Advocate Arif Hossain Liton, Riaz Mahmud Harej, District Jubo Dal Member Secretary Tuhinur Rahman Tuhin, Joint Convener Mohammad Masud Parvez, District Mahila Dal President Sabiha Habib, District Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Advocate Jinnah Khan, District Chhatra Dal President Abdul Khalek Shuvo, General Secretary Sirajur Rahman Khan Sajib, along with leaders of BNP and its associate organizations, local dignitaries, teachers, parents, and thousands of residents.

Afroza Khanam Rita said, “The 31-point program announced by National Leader Tarique Rahman for restructuring the state framework is not just a political declaration—it is the principal vehicle for restoring people’s rights and transforming the nation into a developed, prosperous, and modern state.”

She added, “Under the visionary leadership of Tarique Rahman, the movement to restore democracy has gained new momentum. The people are now ready for change. Therefore, ensuring the victory of the Paddy Sheaf is the demand of the time for the sake of the nation.”

During her speech, Rita further said, “The interim government has announced that the roadmap for the national election will be declared in the first half of February. However, a certain group is conspiring to sabotage the election. They are resorting to various acts of violence to endanger democracy.”

Calling upon the party leaders and activists, she said, “We must build a united public opinion against these evil forces. Forgetting all divisions, we must strengthen every level of the organization shoulder to shoulder. Only then can we ensure the victory of the Paddy Sheaf in Manikganj.”

At one point in her address, Afroza Khanam Rita remarked, “Manikganj, known as a BNP stronghold, holds immense potential for development. To transform this district into a modern and model district, we must follow Tarique Rahman’s development philosophy and political wisdom. Under his leadership, it is possible to build Manikganj into a self-reliant, technology-driven, and citizen-friendly district.”

She concluded by praying for the quick recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and for the good health and long life of National Leader Tarique Rahman, saying,

“If we move forward in unity, forgetting all divisions, we can surely realize the dream of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman’s Bangladesh.”
