She added, “Under the visionary leadership of Tarique Rahman, the movement to restore democracy has gained new momentum. The people are now ready for change. Therefore, ensuring the victory of the Paddy Sheaf is the demand of the time for the sake of the nation.”
During her speech, Rita further said, “The interim government has announced that the roadmap for the national election will be declared in the first half of February. However, a certain group is conspiring to sabotage the election. They are resorting to various acts of violence to endanger democracy.”
Calling upon the party leaders and activists, she said, “We must build a united public opinion against these evil forces. Forgetting all divisions, we must strengthen every level of the organization shoulder to shoulder. Only then can we ensure the victory of the Paddy Sheaf in Manikganj.”
