No Alternative to the BNP in Establishing Fundamental Rights — Rita
  Date : 29-11-2025

Kamalul Hasan: Afroza Khanam Rita, member of the BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council, convener of the Manikganj district BNP, and BNP’s candidate for the Manikganj-3 constituency, has said that there is no alternative to the BNP in establishing fundamental rights and restoring democracy. She made the remarks on Saturday afternoon after visiting the free medical camp organized by the Munnu Welfare Foundation at the Lemubari Binoda Sundari High School grounds in Manikganj Sadar upazila. Rita said that under the visionary leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, the country has been freed from fascism and a new Bangladesh has begun its journey. Maintaining this continuity requires ensuring the victory of the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ symbol in the upcoming national election. She alleged that a certain group, jealous of the BNP’s growing popularity, is engaged in various conspiracies centering the election. According to Rita, “Deep conspiracies are underway to stop the victory of the Sheaf of Paddy. All pro-democracy forces must remain united.” Describing Manikganj-3 as a traditional stronghold of the BNP, she said that BNP’s politics is rooted in development, justice, and the restoration of people’s rights. Rita also stated that implementing Tarique Rahman’s 31-point reform agenda would ensure political and administrative stability in the country. Rita added that if the BNP comes to power, it will increase employment, develop the education and health sectors, curb corruption, and accelerate local development. She urged the people of Manikganj to vote for the Sheaf of Paddy and deliver a verdict for change. District BNP leaders were present at the event, including Advocate A.F.M. Nurtaz Alam Bahar, Advocate Zohir Alam Khan Lodi, Nasir Uddin Ahmed Jadu, Golam Kibria Said, Abdus Salam Badol, Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Habu, Asaduzzaman Khan Dolon, Advocate Arif Hossain Liton, Riyaz Mahmud Harej, District Jubo Dal Member-Secretary Tuhinur Rahman Tuhin, Joint Conveners Md. Masud Parvez and Mahbubul Alam Uzzal, District Swechchhasebak Dal Convener Advocate Jinnah Khan, District Chhatra Dal President Abdul Khalek Shubho, along with leaders and activists of the BNP and its associate bodies, teachers, doctors, and several thousand local residents. She sought prayers for the speedy recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia and for the good health and long life of Tarique Rahman, along with prayers for the welfare of the nation. After the medical camp, Rita visited the Lemubari Bazaar and the proposed site for a long-demanded bridge over the Kaliganga River in the Lemubari–Ghosta area. Later, she attended a views-exchange meeting organized by the Muktijoddha Sangsad. At the day’s final event, she awarded the champion team at the closing ceremony of the “Harunar Rashid Khan Munnu Memorial Football Tournament 2025,” held at the Fukurhati Kandapara Mujibur Rahman High School grounds in Saturia.
