Pakistan delegation paid a courtesy call on DU VC

MM Rahmatullah: A six-member delegation led by Mr. Jehanzeb Khan, Project Director of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan on Monday December 01, 2025 at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by some other representatives from different universities in Pakistan. 

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interests especially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs among Dhaka University and different universities in Pakistan. Project Director of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Mr. Jehanzeb Khan expressed his willingness to work with Dhaka University for promoting academic and research collaboration. 

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan apprised the guests of brief history of Dhaka University and its academic and research activities. He stressed need for establishing network and partnership with different academic and research institutions across the world to upgrade academic and research activities. He also thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic and research activities.
