Special Correspondent: The High Commission for Pakistan, in collaboration with the North South University (NSU), organized a Talk titled “Allama Iqbal’s Concept of the Shaheen (Falcon) and Today’s Youth” at NSU, Dhaka.
Dr. Baseera Ambreen, Professor, Institute of Urdu Language and Literature, Oriental College, University of the Punjab, Lahore, delivered the keynote address. She explained Iqbal’s depiction of the Shaheen as a symbol of self-respect, courage, moral strength, and intellectual freedom—qualities she stressed are vital for today’s youth. Dr. Ambreen underscored the enduring relevance of Iqbal’s philosophy in inspiring young generations toward integrity, resilience, and purposeful living.
