First Batch of Bangladeshi students Arrives in Pakistan under Allama Iqbal Scholarship

Diplomatic Correspondent: The inaugural group of Bangladeshi students, recipients of the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships under the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor, has landed in Pakistan to begin their higher‑education journey at top Pakistani universities.

Representatives from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and the host institutions welcomed the scholars at the airport. The Knowledge Corridor seeks to deepen academic collaboration and people‑to‑people ties between the two brotherly nations, and officials announced that the selection process for the next cohort will start shortly. Pakistan extends its best wishes for the students’ academic success and a rewarding stay in the country.
