New Leadership at Mukto Gonmadhom Moncho

Special Correspondent: A new governing board has been formed for Mukto Gonmadhom Moncho, an organization established to promote media freedom, freedom of speech, professional safety for journalists, and reforms in the media sector.

Mohammad Abdullah Mazumder has been elected as the Spokesperson, Aktaruzzaman as the Chief Executive, and Sanzida Sezuti as the Chief Organizer of the new board.
The board was formed on Sunday (March 8) at an event held at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in the capital. The information was disclosed in a statement signed by Mahfuz Uddin Khan, Chief Coordinator of the Board Review Committee of Mukto Gonmadhom Moncho, and Md. Ilias, the committee’s coordinator.
Eight additional members have been elected as Directors of the new board. They are: Mahfuz Uddin Khan, Kefayet Ullah Kawser, Aleya Alo, Faruk Astana, Md. Ilias, Moin Mosharraf, Anika Tahsin, and Abdur Rahim.
