Desk Report: The 413th meeting of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC was held at the bank’s corporate head office on September 23, 2026, with Chairman Mohammed Younus in the chair.

The board reviewed and approved a number of investment proposals at the meeting, as part of its regular business and investment decision-making process.

Vice-Chairman Fakir Akhtaruzzaman and directors Md Sanaullah Shahid, Abdul Barek, Akkas Uddin Mollah, Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, A. K. Azad, Md Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Fakir Mashrikuzzaman and Fakir Maniruzzaman attended the meeting.

Independent Directors Md Reazul Karim and Muallem A Choudhury were also present.

Managing Director Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and Company Secretary Md Abul Bashar attended the meeting as well.

The board meeting discussed the bank’s investment-related matters and took decisions in accordance with its regular governance and operational procedures.
