Best Youth Organizer Sadi Role Model for Youth Society

Kishoreganj Correspondent: In 2004, when the flood hit, he went to the Kishoreganj Youth Development Department in search of some job training and came to know through a notification that the government was providing free training to unemployed youth to make them self-reliant. Attracted to the subject and motivated by the employment training program for the unemployed, successful self-worker Aminul Haque Sadi took a three-month residential training on “cattle, poultry, dairy farm, agriculture and primary care” from the “Kishoreganj Youth Training Center”. He did not stop at becoming self-reliant by utilizing the knowledge gained from the training. He became dedicated to the welfare of unemployed youth. From a successful self-worker, he became a successful youth organizer. In 2010, he played a major role in youth awakening in the district and established a youth welfare social organization called “Yub Unnayan Parishad” and gained fame as a skilled youth organizer. In 2020, the Kishoreganj Youth Development Department granted this organization a registration certificate. Youth organizer Aminul Haque Sadi is currently serving as the president of the “Youth Development Council”. He completed his Masters in Islamic History and Culture from Gurudayal Government College, a traditional school in Kishoreganj, in 2019. Despite his highest education, he did not pursue a government job and instead took a loan of 60 thousand taka from the Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila Youth Development Office to establish the ‘Sadi Integrated Agricultural Farm’. After that, he did not have to look back. Currently, a large team of more than 500 members of the organization he established is working in social work. The organization plays an important role in social welfare and youth leadership. He plays a unique role as a volunteer in dealing with any disaster. He has made great contributions to the celebration of national days including National Youth Day and youth leadership. He played a role among the students and youth of his area in the July Revolution 2024, especially standing by the student Junaid, who lost his leg in police firing. The organization also presented honorary crests to 1000 distinguished individuals, including the bullet-scarred social activist Jubo Dal leader Masum Billah, injured July fighter Shafiqul Islam Naeem, government and non-government officials and various social workers, in recognition of their work. The organization received a grant of 40,000 taka in 2023 from the Youth Welfare Fund under the Ministry of Youth and Sports in recognition of its youth activities. With this grant, the “Saadi Integrated Agricultural Farm” project has been further expanded. Through this project, fish farming in ponds and 5,000 free saplings have been distributed. Through Saadi`s organization, 3,000 unemployed youth and young women have been brought under training step by step. Out of them, more than 300 people have been made self-reliant. Due to Saadi`s efforts, 10 unemployed youth from the area have been employed in government and private jobs. He has assisted 10 more unemployed people abroad in finding employment. He has arranged for 2 regular workers and 5 workers for project work in the organization he established. More than 500 members of the organization he founded are playing a leading role in social development. During the Corona period, he registered 1,000 poor people for free corona vaccination. He distributed 10,000 masks, hand sanitizers and a large amount of relief materials. Recently, he registered more than 500 students for free typhoid vaccination. He has also made a unique contribution to healthcare by organizing free medical camps in villages. He has distributed more than a million rupees in cash, including wheelchairs to more than a hundred poor people and 5 disabled people, sewing machines to 10 women. He also runs a youth training center for the youth and adult education programs for the elderly. He has also established a library on his own initiative. The rural society is benefiting from 5,000 books in this library. In their free time, readers from children to teenagers and adults are spreading the light of knowledge by reading books. He established the Krishak Partner Field School with the farmers of the area. Through this school, the farmer is working for the welfare of the farmer. Starting from the Kishoreganj district level and nationally, he has presented articles and obtained certificates by participating in various meetings, seminars, training workshops, and more than a hundred. As a member of the International Youth Summit, he is also working for the development of youth under the Bangladesh Country Chapter. Aminul Haque Sadi has participated in sports, debates, essay competitions, literary and cultural activities at the school, college, university level and has received more than a hundred awards and certificates.
