Maulana M. A. Karim Ibn Mosobbir, a remarkable person in Bangladesh

A lucky man who emerged from the lava, who could become a minister in the Bangladesh government at any time. Who is Maulana M. A. Karim Ibn Mosobbir behind the camera? Many may not know the answer to this question. He was a well-known and eye-catching figure in Bangladesh. As a politician, he was known as a confidant of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the party`s chairman.

As a columnist, Maulana M. A. Karim Ibn Mosobbir was an anti-fascist writer. His followers claim that he was imprisoned during the then Sheikh Hasina government because of his writings. His close associates also mention that the publication of Dainik Amar Desh and Dainik Sangram was stopped due to the publication of his columns.

Later, it was reported that BNP central organizational coordinator and missing leader M. Ilyas Ali received a message on his mobile phone a few days before his disappearance. It was claimed that the message mentioned the fear that M. Ilyas Ali and Maulana M. A. Karim Ibn Mosobbir might be abducted. It was stated that information about this came to light in a report published on the front page of the daily Bangladesh Pratidin on April 28, 2012, after M. Ilyas Ali went missing. Later, it was claimed that Maulana M. A. Karim Ibn Mosobbir and various leaders, including Maulana Junayed Babunagri, a close associate of Hefazat-e-Islam Ameer Allama Shah Ahmed Shafi, were imprisoned during the then government for allegedly leading the 2013 Shapla Chattar movement. After his imprisonment, Maulana M. A. Karim Ibn Mosobbir went into exile.

Currently, a large section of the general public in Bangladesh is demanding that this capable, honest, selfless and patriotic man be given important responsibilities in the Bangladesh government, even included in the cabinet. Bangladesh needs a patriotic and experienced leader like Maulana M. A. Karim Ibn Mosobbir- this is what his supporters believe.
