  Autogas price rises by Tk 11.53 per litre

The price of autogas has been increased by Tk 11.53 per litre to Tk 84.62 at the consumer level, including VAT.

The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) issued an order revising the price on Sunday afternoon. The new price came into effect at 6:00pm and will remain in force until further notice, the commission said.

The price of autogas was previously Tk 73.09 per litre.

BERC also increased the price of a 12kg LPG cylinder by Tk 252 to Tk 1,837.

Under the revised rates, a 5.5kg LPG cylinder will cost Tk 842, while 12.5kg, 15kg, 16kg, 18kg and 20kg cylinders will cost Tk 1,913, Tk 2,296, Tk 2,449, Tk 2,755 and Tk 3,061 respectively.

The prices of 22kg, 25kg, 30kg, 33kg, 35kg and 45kg cylinders have been set at Tk 3,367, Tk 3,827, Tk 4,592, Tk 5,051, Tk 5,357 and Tk 6,888 respectively.
