Tarique Rahman — The New Ray of Hope for a Fascism-Free Bangladesh: Dr. Khondkar Bablu
  Date : 25-10-2025

Staff Correspondent: “Bangladesh stands at the threshold of a new journey. In the struggle to build a fascism-free Bangladesh, Deshnayak Tarique Rahman is the new ray of hope,” said Dr. Khondkar Akbar Hossain Bablu, son of the late BNP Secretary General Khondkar Delwar Hossain, former vice-president of Manikganj District BNP, member of the district’s convening committee, and BNP nomination aspirant for Manikganj-1 constituency. He made the remarks on Saturday (October 25) during a leaflet distribution and mass communication campaign at Barongail and Mohadebpur Bazaars in Shibalaya upazila of Manikganj, as part of the nationwide outreach to promote the BNP’s 31-point reform agenda declared by Acting Chairman Deshnayak Tarique Rahman to rebuild the state structure. Dr. Bablu said, “The political philosophy of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman is rooted in protecting the people, the country, and national sovereignty. He has taught us that there is no alternative to unity. The strength of the people is the true foundation of the BNP.” He added, “Because of Tarique Rahman’s prudence, foresight, and dynamic leadership, Bangladesh has broken free from the grip of authoritarianism. A new Bangladesh has begun to emerge. That is why he is rightly regarded as the new sun of a fascism-free Bangladesh.” Dr. Bablu described the BNP’s 31-point reform agenda as “a blueprint for national reconstruction,” stating, “This is not merely a political manifesto, but a comprehensive plan for reforming education, agriculture, economy, and social structure. Each point is designed to improve the quality of life of the people. These goals must be taken to every household.” Addressing the young generation, Dr. Bablu said, “Tarique Rahman always inspires the youth to engage in politics of patriotism, honesty, and morality. If we can unite while staying away from social vices like drugs and corruption, real change is possible.” He further added, “The future of Bangladesh rests in the hands of the new generation. If they are properly guided, we will be able to build a democratic, developed, and fascism-free nation.” Leaders of the BNP and its affiliated organizations were present during the campaign. At the end of the program, Dr. Bablu sought prayers for the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and for the good health and long life of Deshnayak Tarique Rahman.
