3 of a family found dead in Khulna

Three members of a family, including two children, were found dead on Sunday in Khulna Sadar upazila on Sunday night.

The deceased were identified as Mohidunnesa, 55, wife of Abdul Mannan of Labanchara area in the city and her two grandchildren, Mostakin, 8, and Fatiha, 6.

According to locals, they discovered the body of Mohidunnesa, along with her grandchildren’s body, near a chicken shed beside her house at around 9 PM and informed police.


Being informed, police recovered the bodies from the spot and sent them to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsies.

Labanchara Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Hawlader Sanwar Hossain Masum confirmed the incident and said, “Injury marks were found on all three bodies and they appeared stiff.”
