Tasteful Islamic programs may help build moral character

Call to make aesthetic & character-building TV programs.

Abdul Khaleque Khandker: A tasteful Islamic magazine function, named “Onno Rokom” planned and directed by H.M. Barkatullah is going to be aired for the first time in the Bashakhi television on the occasion of the ensuing Eid ul Azha.

National media center has arranged this aesthetic and character-building program.

The magazine program will be telecast in the Baishakhi television every day at 5.45 pm continually 7 days from the first day of the Eid ul Azha. Popular TV artists of the country acted in the magazine program.

On this occasion, some conscious citizens who think about the future and moral characters of our youths said, during this time of moral decadence, such types of tastefully-made Islamic programs are necessary to provide mental foods for the TV onlookers, especially for the young men and women, who are used to spending some of their times enjoying various TV programs.

They think, TV programs are obviously helpful to build good moral character of the people especially the young generation who are fond of watching various TV programs.

It is known to all that the country is likely undergoing to experience two-week-long strict lock down just one day after Eid ul Azha.

During this period of austere shut down, people en masse will have exclusive leisure time. They may enjoy tasteful and character-building programs in the television channels sitting at homes.

 Keeping this noble idea in mind, H.M. Barkatullah, the popular presenter, producer and director of Islamic programs in the television, has chalked put this tasteful Islamic magazine program on the TV channel so that the TV watchers can enjoy attractive functions and  at the same time, they can view something good which bear both educative and cultural values so that people can mould their personalities in the light of Islam and for  human welfare.
