Declaration of 2nd Int’l Mother Tongue Journalist Conference submitted to United Nations

Special Correspondent: Declaration of 2nd International Mother Tongue Journalist Conference has been submitted to United Nations today.
President of SAARC Journalist Forum Raju Lama and President of NFNJ Nripendra Lal Shrestha handed over the declaration to Simrika Sharma, representative of United Nations Nepal in the presence of leaders of NFNJ Raju Napit and Srijana Newa.
"United Nations is positive to work and cooperate with NFNJ and SJF regarding mother tounge journalism in Nepal," Sharma said. She also appreciated the initiative taken by NFNJ and SJF to preserve the mother tongue.
President of SAARC Journalist Forum Raju Lama clarified the objectives of the conference and urged to support United Nations on initiation on mother tongue journalism.
Nripendra Lal Shrestha, President of NFNJ, urged United Nations to support the declaration of 2nd International Mother Tongue Journalist Conference held on 13 and 14 June 2025.
