Mirza Tamal and MM Badsha re-elected CRAB President and Secretary

Special Correspondent: Mirza Mehedi Tamal, City Editor of Bangladesh Pratidin has been re-elected President and MM Badsha, Chief News Editor (CNE) of Bangla TV re-elected General Secretary of the Crime Reporters Association of Bangladesh (CRAB).

The election was held at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Sunday where Tamal secured 145 votes as president and his only Contender Alauddin Arif, Deputy Editor of Kalbela got 130 votes.
MM Badsha bagged 119 votes as the general secretary while his rival Sirajul Islam of Jugantor got 114 votes. Sohidul Islam Razi was elected joint Secretary.
Other office bearers include Finance Secretary Aminul Islam, Organising Secretary Nehal Hasnaine, Office Secretary Ismail Hossain Imu, Publicity and Publication Secretary Mahmud Sohel (uncontested), Sports and Cultural Secretary Md Abu Jafar (uncontested), Training and ICT Secretary Sharear Zaman Dip (uncontested), Law and Welfare Secretary Sheikh Kalimullah Noyon (uncontested), International Secretary Habibullah Mizan (uncontested) and executive members -- Abu Hena Rasel, Ayub Ansari and Mahbub Alam.
