Some 101 Myanmar soldiers out of 330, who took shelter in Bangladesh due to the ongoing internal fight in their country, have been taken from Tumbru to Teknaf.
Shoriful Islam, information officer of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), confirmed the matter on Thursday afternoon.
He said, "The BGB took the soldiers including the members of Myanmar Border Gourd Police (BGP) and other armed forces from Ghumdhum High School to Hnila Adarsha Primary School in in Teknaf in the afternoon. A total of 167 soldiers have so far been taken to Teknaf."
Earlier on Wednesday, 66 soldiers were sent there, he said.
