Bashundhara Kings face Rahmatganj in Fed Cup quarters today

Title contenders Bashundhara Kings will take on Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society in the second quarterfinal of the ABG Bashundhara Federation Cup 2023-24 today (April 16).

The match will take place at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj at 03:00pm (BST).

Kings earlier reached the knockout stage as the three-team Group C toppers after beating Fortis Football Club and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Ltd by the same 1-0 goal margin.

On the other side, Rahmatganj MFS qualified for the quarters as the first third-placed team.

The old Dhaka outfit, who were placed in the four-team Group A, earned a 2-2 draw with Police FC but lost to Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd by 1-4 goals.

Meanwhile, the ongoing domestic season 2023-24 resumed on Monday after a six-day break for Eid-ul-Fitr and Pahela Baishakh with two round 12 matches of the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) 2023-24.

BFF Elite Academy Football Team played out a goalless draw with NoFeL Sporting Club while Fakirerpool Young Men`s Club beat Wari Club by 3-1 in their respective matches at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur.
