Cricketer Shakib fined Tk 2.26 crore

Bangladesh’s national cricket team’s former captain, Shakib Al Hasan, has been fined Tk 2 crore 26 lakh by Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) for manipulating the share price of a publicly listed company. According to sources at BSEC on Thursday (May 15), the regulatory body found Shakib guilty of involvement in share price manipulation of Sonali Paper & Board Mills Ltd., .....
