Two killed as bus rams autorickshaw in M`singh

Two people, including a woman, were killed and four others injured when a bus and a autorickshaw collided head-on on the Mymensingh-Sherpur highway in Mymensingh Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.

The accident took place around 11am at Raghurampur area under the upazila.

However, the details about the deceased could not be known immediately.

Quoting locals, Kotwali Model Police Station sub-inspector Md Polash said the accident occurred when a Sherpur-bound bus collided head-on with a CNG-run autorickshaw in the area, leaving two dead on the spot and four others critically injured.


The injured were rescued and taken to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, he said.

On information, police went there and taking the necessary steps, added the police official.
