Minimum Fitra fixed at Tk 110, maximum Tk 2,805

The minimum Fitra has been fixed at Tk 110 per head this year, while the maximum at Tk 2,805.

The rate was fixed at a meeting of the National Fitra Committee on Tuesday which was held at Islamic Foundation`s Baitul Mukarram conference hall.

The meeting was chaired by Mufti Mawlana Abdul Malek, Chairman of the committee and Khatib of the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

The rate of Fitra is fixed on the basis of market prices of flour, dates, cheese, raisins and some other essentials.
