(BSS) - Management committee of Natore Uttara Ganabhaban held a meeting at the deputy commissioner`s conference room here this morning.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Natore Asma Shahin presided over the meeting, while additional district administrator (General) Abul Hayat moderated the discussions.

During the meeting, the committee decided to reconstruct the boundary wall, revamp the walkway around the lake and renovate 26 ghats surrounding the lake, subject to approval from the Cabinet Division.

Additionally, decisions were made to construct new buildings and a main gate in consultation with the department of Archeology. A master plan will be formulated for the overall development of the historic site.

The meeting was attended by several officials, including civil surgeon Dr. Muktadir Arefin, additional district administrator (Revenue) M. Arif Hossain, district fisheries officer Dr. Abul Kalam Azad, executive engineer of the Public Works Division Amit Kumar Dev and Natore Press Club president Farazi Ahmed Rafique.
