Bangladesh will tour Pakistan for a five-match T20 International series next month, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed today.
The series, revised from the original three ODIs and three T20Is, is part of the ICC Future Tour Programme (FTP) and has been adjusted to boost preparations for next year`s ICC Men`s T20 World Cup.
The series will take place from May 25 to June 3, with matches split between Faisalabad and Lahore. The first two games, scheduled for May 25 and 27, will be held at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium, which is returning to the international stage after 17 years. The venue last hosted a match — also between Bangladesh and Pakistan — in April 2008.
Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the final three matches on May 30, June 1, and June 3. All fixtures will begin at 7 PM Bangladesh Standard Time.
The Bangladesh squad is set to arrive in Pakistan on May 21 and will hold training sessions at Iqbal Stadium from May 22 to 24.
