International Karate Union achieves international recognition

Online Desk: International Karate Union of Bangladesh (IKU, Bangladesh) has been recognized as the only official representative in Bangladesh by the World Koshiki Karatedo Federation of Japan.

On the occasion of achieving recognition, a discussion meeting and dinner were organized by IKU at a hotel in Uttara last night. The meeting, chaired by Syed Atiq, Senior Vice President of the International Karate Union Central Committee, was addressed by Vice President of the organization Shekanul Islam Shahi, General Secretary and Chief Trainer Sensei Abdullah Al-Mamun, Trainer Sayeed Mahmud and Assistant Trainer Ritu.
The speakers said - With this achievement, a unique chapter has begun in the history of martial arts in Bangladesh!
This recognition from Japan has opened a new door not only for us, but also for the young generation of Bangladesh -
The horizon of international standard training, competition and development is now within reach. We believe that the world-winning martial arts leadership of the future will emerge from Bangladesh.
At the meeting, Sayeed Mahmud was appointed as the General Secretary of the World Koshiki Karate Federation, Bangladesh.
