Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested an accused in trader Sohag murder case from Patuakhali`s Sadar upazila on Tuesday night.

According to additional superintendent of Patuakhali police Sajedul Islam, a team of DB picked up the accused from Itbaria area at night. But his identity was not disclosed for the sake of the investigation.

Detained man had thrown stone on Sohag`s body, a DB source confirmed.

As per initial information given by the detained accused, the drive to arrest one more accused is on, the source added.
