Giggle Academy is a completely free educational platform funded by Chinese-Canadian billionaire Changpeng Zhao. The project aims to provide foundational knowledge from grade 1 through grade 12 to every child, with a particular focus on underserved, remote, and disadvantaged areas where access to formal schooling remains limited.

Rather than replacing existing education systems, Giggle Academy serves as a supportive tool that empowers underprivileged children by giving them access to essential knowledge. It helps open up opportunities for holistic development, both in terms of critical thinking and practical skills. The curriculum includes core subjects such as literacy, languages, literature, mathematics, and science.

In addition to traditional subjects, Giggle Academy also offers advanced and modern knowledge in fields such as programming, art, negotiation skills, personal finance, legal studies, accounting, blockchain, and artificial intelligence—areas that are often missing from conventional school systems.

Bangladesh—a beautiful nation in South Asia—is one of the most densely populated and economically challenged countries in the region, where tens of millions of children share a simple dream: to go to school. Recognizing this urgent need, the Niannian Community, in collaboration with local volunteers, has been establishing numerous Giggle Academy classrooms throughout Bangladesh.

We are currently implementing the program “One Giggle Academy Classroom Per Day” across all 64 districts of the country, with the hope that tens of millions of Bangladeshi children will soon have the opportunity to access a free, modern, and inclusive education through Giggle Academy.
