The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the price of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 3 to Tk 1,270 per 12 kg cylinder.

BERC announced the new prices on Tuesday, September 2, which will come into force from 6:00pm today.

Apart from this, price of 12.5 kg cylinder was fixed at Tk 1,323, 15 kg at Tk 1,588, 16 kg at Tk 1,694, 18 kg Tk 1,906, 20 kg at Tk 2,117, 22 kg at Tk 2,329, 25 kg at 2,647, 30 kg at Tk 3,176, 33 kg at 3,494, 35 kg at Tk 3,705 and 45 kg at Tk 4,764 respectively.

Earlier, the commission set the LPG price at Tk 1,273 per 12 kg cylinder for August by lowering Tk 91.
