Bhutan Ambassador meets Jamaat Ameer

(BSS) - Ambassador of Bhutan to Bangladesh, Dasho Karma Hamu Dorjee met Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman at the latter`s office in the city`s Bashundhara today.

The Ambassador was accompanied by Embassy Counselor Jigdral Y. Shering. The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere.

During the discussion, they exchanged views on various matters of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Bhutan. Both sides expressed firm commitment to continuing and strengthening bilateral trade, economic cooperation, and overall development between the two countries.

The meeting was also attended by Jamaat Assistant Secretary General Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair and Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami.
