The meeting featured a detailed discussion on the 31-point program for state structure reform announced by the party’s Acting Chairman and National Leader, Tarique Rahman. At the gathering, S.A. Jinnah Kabir, a member of the Central Executive Committee, former Revolutionary General Secretary of the District BNP, and aspirant for the BNP nomination for Manikganj-1 constituency (Ghiur-Daulatpur-Shibaloy), appealed to local voters for their support under the party’s electoral symbol, the “Paddy Sheaf.” The meeting was presided over by Mohammad Ali, President of Ward No. 7 BNP. Prominent figures from the district, upazila, union, and ward-level BNP and its affiliated organizations attended, including Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, Convener of the District Jubo Dal, and Md. Masudur Rahman Masud, Senior Vice President of the District Krishok Dal. Local dignitaries also participated, expressing their support for the prospective candidate. Speakers at the meeting emphasized that the 31-point program for state structure reform under the leadership of Tarique Rahman is a groundbreaking step for the country’s democracy and good governance. S.A. Jinnah Kabir outlined his electoral goals and action plan, engaged directly with the public, and called for votes for the Paddy Sheaf symbol through the consent and support of the people. Locals noted that such courtyard meetings not only ensure direct engagement with the candidate but also play a crucial role in raising political awareness and encouraging active voter participation. During the meeting, a large crowd was observed in the local market and surrounding areas, reflecting the candidate’s popularity. Political analysts view the organization of the courtyard meeting and the active participation of attendees positively. According to them, such direct public engagement in Shibaloy Model Union brings the political process to life and clearly communicates the party’s and candidate’s objectives and policies to the local voters. After the meeting, S.A. Jinnah Kabir stated, “With everyone’s cooperation and support, we aim to ensure the victory of the Paddy Sheaf and promote good governance for the country. Standing by the people is our primary goal.”
