  Date : 17-10-2025

Special Correspondent: Indian forces have intensified surveillance and cordon and search operations in various areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, personnel of the Indian Army, Border Security Force (BSF) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have increased the use of surveillance tools and equipment and continued search and frisking operations in different villages and areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kashmir valley and Jammu region.
The forces are also strengthening their infrastructure in several areas, including Gurez, Uri, Karnah, Tangdhar, Doodhpathri and Sunderbani.
Officials said troops regularly undergo training and continue to establish bunkers, creating an atmosphere of fear and tension in the territory.
On the other hand, Indian forces continued a massive cordon and search operation on the second day, today, in the Kirchi and Latti-Dudu-Basantgarh areas of Udhampur district. The operation was launched yesterday after receiving reports of suspicious movement in the area, Indian police officials claimed.
Meanwhile, Indian forces’ personnel during another search operation have arrested two youth, Muzammil Ahmad Butt and Imtiyaz Ahmad Dar in Budran Magam area of Budgam district.
