Teachers and employees held silent procession in Phulpur

Md Mijanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur: As per the central decision, a silent procession of teachers and employees has been held in Phulpur to demand 20% house rent and 1500 taka medical allowance for MPO teachers and employees across the country at the upazila and district levels and 75% festival allowance for employees.
The silent procession started from the central Shaheed Minar in Phulpur on Tuesday (October 21) afternoon and circled various roads of the municipal city. After the procession, teachers and employees held a rally at the Shaheed Minar square. The silent procession was led by teachers Nazrul Islam, Saidul Islam Mubaraki, Abu Sayeed, Abdullah Jobayer, senior teachers Nazrul Islam and Abu Bakar Siddique, Nahid Nigar Sultana and leaders of the alliance seeking nationalization of education under MPO. At this time, speakers warned of a tough movement to achieve their demands.
