ICT sets Nov 2 for indictment order against Hanif, three other AL leaders

The International Crimes Tribunal-2 on Tuesday set November 2 to frame charges against Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif and three other party leaders in a crimes against humanity case related to July uprising.

A three-member tribunal, led by Justice Nazrul Islam Chowdhury, set the date after hearing on an acquittal petition.

State lawyer Md Amir Hossain read out all the charges before the tribunal against the fugitive four accused.

Chief Prosecutor Tajul Islam, prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim, Abdus Sobhan Torofder, Abdus Sattar Palwan among others were present.
