Kamrul Hasan: S.A. Jinnah Kabir, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), former General Secretary of Manikganj District BNP, senior member of the District BNP Conveners Committee, and the leader of the Dhaner Sheesh (Rice Sheaf) in Manikganj-1 constituency, stated, “The implementation of the 31-point state structure reform announced by BNP’s Acting Chairman, National Leader Tarique Rahman, is essential for building a developed and prosperous Bangladesh.”
On Thursday (October 30), in a meeting organized by the Upazila Ulama Party and all its affiliated organizations at Tepra, Shibaloy, Manikganj, following a leaflet distribution campaign promoting the 31-point state structure reform announced by BNP’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, Jinnah Kabir delivered his speech as the chief guest. He addressed party leaders, activists, general voters, and local residents.
The event was chaired by Hafez Qari Mamunur Rashid, President of the Upazila Ulama Party. Present at the meeting were Kazi Mostak Hossain Dipu, Convener of the District Jubo Dal, Masudur Rahman Masud, Senior Vice President of the District Krishak Dal, Mizanur Rahman, President of the Upazila BNP, Nasir Uddin, Organizational Secretary, Sirajul Islam, President of Daulatpur Upazila BNP, Anisur Rahman Anis, General Secretary, Mir Manikuzzaman Manik, President of Ghior Upazila BNP, Md. Hossain Ali, President of the Upazila Jubo Dal, and leaders of BNP and all its affiliated organizations.
Jinnah Kabir said, “Under the farsighted leadership of National Leader Tarique Rahman, BNP and the people’s movement brought down autocratic rule. Now, it is necessary to transform the fruits of that movement into sustainable development through unity. The country’s development must continue by upholding the ideals of the martyred President Ziaur Rahman.”
He further stated, “As part of fulfilling the people’s long-standing 17-year expectation, the interim government has decided to hold the national elections in February 2026. However, a certain group is engaged in a conspiracy to sabotage the elections under the guise of the ‘PR system.’ This negative force must be collectively resisted for the welfare of the country.”
Addressing party leaders and activists, he called for taking an active role to ensure the victory of Dhaner Sheesh and advised women to play a leading role in the political arena.
He prayed for the good health of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and wished National Leader Tarique Rahman a long and healthy life, asking everyone to join in these prayers.
